Our Procurement and Logistics Solutions teams work hand-in-hand with our clients to help assess all aspects of their project requirements. The two main objectives of our buyers are to secure the lowest purchase price for the items and equipment in compliance with the clients’ specifications, while expediting every order to exceed our customers’ demands. Our primary objective is to achieve purchasing leverage through economies of scale. Managing and consolidating procurement orders and therefore purchasing volumes are achieved. The purchasing and shipping discounts realized as a result of our expertise are then passed onto our clients.

- Procurement outsourcing is the transfer of specified key procurement activities relating to sourcing and supplier management to a third party — perhaps to reduce overall costs or maybe to tighten the company's focus on its core competencies. Outsourced procurement is therefore an available solution for companies who have no internal competencies but want to quickly benefit from procurement action. These benefits include cost reduction, access to supplier and contract management.
- Logistics is the management of the flow of the goods, information and other resources in a repair cycle between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meet the requirements of customers. Logistics involves the integration of information, transportation, inventory, warehousing, material handling, packaging and occasionally security. Logistics is a channel of the supply chain which adds the value of time and place utility.

T-R Associates was founded in 1976 by Mr. Thomas Speicher (Tim), CEO and President, who is still working every day in our modern 35,000 square foot headquarters. Tim started our company, as do many true entrepreneurs right out of their home garages in 1976. Tim identified a need for USA manufactured goods and spare parts to be sourced, inspected, and shipped reliably to multinational oilfield operations around the world.
Over the years the company has grown and developed our own proprietary purchasing software which enables our team of buyers to quickly and efficiently source, negotiate best price, determine delivery and quote the respective items our International clients need. We provide a Single Source Solution under “one” roof for all our clients international procurement demands.

Today, we operate in over 90 countries; employ 18 full time professionals with an average length of service exceeding 23 years. We provide international purchasing solutions to: Manufacturing facilities, Petrochemical plants, Oil and Gas related operations, Non-profit organizations, Government and Military, Industrial and safety suppliers and various B2B resellers.
T-R Associates, Inc. has created a new business sector which provides export marketing and sales support. Small manufacturers and distributors are using T-R Associates to capture global sales opportunities without any of the hassles or risks associates with exporting and foreign payments. T-R Associates acts as our clients global distributor.
